make millions of withe paper butterflies and put them in the trees, and withe flowers ...just that I think will look beautyfull...Inside put more color, use sprin colors with clor butterflies, all around... like if they where really standing there...IT MIGHT TAKE A LOT BUT IT WILL LOOK BEAUTYFUL.
You could also buy a lot of live butterflies.... for the park and free them in a special time.... well... god bless

I have to admit, I was surprised by some of the first answers!!! Obviously, these are not people who have had much expereince with weddings or they would know that theme weddings are huge right now!

One thought on butterfly releases - take the time frame and typical weather into consideration and if you decide to do it, make sure you get advice from professionals. To often these things are not done right, and the butterfly release is mostly dead buterflies:(

Something I saw done that would work if it isn't to windy was a canopy made by hanging silk butterflies on ribbons from tree branches. If was very pretty and whimsical.

Themes are fun...don't listen to uncreative people!

Pick a specific butterfly first and then stick to that colorsceme.

1) How about checking out a Halloween store online and getting butterfly wings for the flower girls to wear while walking down the aisle?
2) You can also buy the wings, cover your chairs with fabric and then attach them to the back
3) Have a simple wild flower arrangement on the table and ad clip on butterflies
4) Make it very flowy- someone else suggested lots of draped fabric...great idea- just do it in the colors or the butterfly you picked
5) As a reception gift, you can give chocolate butterfly pops or even a butterfly garden that you find in the science section of the toy store

Just don't over do it- elegance over kitsch!

Lots of people have theme weddings that reflect their personalities - my fiancee and I are having a 50's theme.

To incorporate the butterfly theme, use lots of pastels in your color scheme on everything from the invitations to the cake. You might consider having the ceremony at a botanical gardens or conservatory, though if you're truly devoted to the park, then there are other ways that you can incorporate the butterfly theme.

- Have your flower girls wear butterfly barretts and maybe even carry miniature butterfly nets instead of flowers.

- Make your own invites and use butterfly stencils to decorate them.

- Wear a butterfly necklace on your wedding day or give something similar to your bridesmaids.

- Dance the father-daughter dance to "Butterfly Kisses."

- Have light and airy decorations - cascading, lavendar fabrics from the reception hall ceiling and matching fabrics on the wall.

- Have a billowy dress so that when you dance, you look airy and elegant like a butterfly.

if you have a butterfly conservatory you should def try to do it there

i also suggest doing a butterfly release instead of the typical rice/seed throw as you and the groom are leaving for the reception

id also suggest maybe adding some nice, fake butterflies to your bouquet and the wedding party flowers

You should have your lover capture 10,000 butterflys, and then release them right as the two of you kiss. Also, chocolate covered butterflies.
