My daughter has a man who is an old soul and a butt hole all at the sametime. He's her friend with benifits and is sending mixed signals. How does she know what is real. He makes little dumb excuses just to talk to her and then puts on a don't care attitude. how does she tell if he likes her

As almost everyone else suggests, she should cut out the benefits and see if he still wants to be her friend. If he drops her, she has her answer. If he still calls, then she should ask him outright what he wants. The bottom line is that an honest discussion has to happen to get a clear answer. He is obviously sending mixed signals, but he may think that he is being crystal clear.

He might be playing hard to get. Friends with benefits is only good if there is no feelings between both parties. Otherwise somebody is going to get hurt and it might just be your daughter. She needs to just be the friend for now and drop the benefits. Tell her to move on with someone else and maybe then he'll come around and quit being a jerk. She has to be smart enough to know when enough is enough. Let him go and see what happens. If he comes around great for the two of them. If not then it's his lose she shouldn't want to be with someone who is going to treat her that way.

ask him if hes is just pu**y footing around her and sees her as a friend to play around with and disrespect? or if he actually likes her enough to do something. the answer is already no because if he was really into her, he would have let her know how he feels and would have made the necessary steps to devote himself to her by leading into a relationship. he's just playing with her.
