im friends with an ex-boyfriend of mine. he has been nice to me thru a rough time in my life. i told him that i was never interested in a relationship. i just wanted to be friends. at first i thought he was interested in being more because he called really often and he bought me a nice electronic organ. now he hardly answers my email. he makes up excuses why he doesn't answer my emails. he doesn't call as often. i think he is seeing someone and he is trying to hide it. what do you think?

He probably has someone else, but believes that you might, or that you still need him. The latter may be true. He does not want to hurt you, but he does have someone in his life that he wants to be with. So, let him know that this is all right.
