It is not that far apart.
Size doesn't matter when in a relationship.

There is nothing wrong with dating someone shorter than you as long as you both enjoy each others company and respect each other. You have to have good communication and honesty as in any relationship. If you have no problems or hang ups with it, why not? I am 5'8" and a quarter :) and I dated someone who was 5'5" and it didn't bother me a bit, because I really fell for him until he cheated on me. I actually preferred taller men, but when the right one comes along, it doesn't really matter.

If you dig the guy, who cares what others think? I am a shorter than average guy myself and do on occasion date women who are taller than I am. As long as you two are ok with yourselves then go for it. I know as a tall woman, you are feeling pretty awkward physically being shorter than you. That is the reason why a lot of women think their guy should be the taller partner.

Dating someone who's a whole foot shorter might be a little weird, and people might "look" at you, but you're not much taller than him, so i think it is fine to date someone like him.

Its awesome to be tall. Be proud of it.
If you happen to fall in love with someone who's a head shorter than you, who cares? You love each other right?
Me and my bf are about eye level and thats cool.
Just be glad you don't have the jack sprat syndrome. lol

they will notice, but its not a bad thing...its the opposite
at 6ft, you better get used to it-i'm a little shorter than you,but we are both taller than the average height for guys

Sure, it'll make you feel like a super-model. Try it, it's fun! Besides, I think at your height, it's too limiting to only date taller men. My son is 6'3" and he says he wants to find a woman who's at least 6' so they can have "super babies!" Ha ha ha... (he's 17, so I wouldn't wait up!).

Yeah, it's okay. Goes against societal norms, but so does a 6ft tall girl. You might make it your preference to date someone closer to your height later, but if you like him, height should not be a factor--go for it.

I am 5'6", and my husband is almost 5'2". We've been together for almsot 6 1/2 years. :) It's fine, even if it takes a little getting used to.

Of course darling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are okay with dating a shorter guy, who for it right now.
I think it's good for women to break the rules....he is onlyy 4 inches shorter than you...
