Do you want answers based on what social scientists(politically correct answers) say or answers known by the scientific community for ages? First I'd like to point out, men and women are biologically different. Their brains are physically different. To say men and women have equal abilities on everything is a lie. Feminists and social theorists might argue otherwise but they are hardly the people who are experts in this field. If you believe society is the cause of all our differences that is naive and stupid thinking.
On average men have the higher math abilities. When it comes to simple calculations it becomes more even. The more difficult and abstract the math the more the differences will show. This is evident in the pure dominance in men winning math olympiads and fields medals. Men dominate the upper echelons of professions requiring high mathematics. Also, differences emerges even more the older you get, heredity takes over. Boys also mature slower than girls. If your comparing boys and girls at a young age it might not be so large but comparing men and women it will be.
According to ETS the average GRE quantitative scores were 610 for men and 522 for women. There were 13 times as many boys than girls who scored a 700+ on SAT math. Men outscore women on the math and spatial portions of IQ tests on average.

It has been said that boys have been better for many years, but recently there has been a large incline in girls being better, most likely due to female teachers pressing the girls more so they can be at the same level if no higher.

My guess is that girls r!!! aren't there more girls in the world then boys!!! that means there is a higher chance of girls being better in math then boys BUT that is just a guess {i personally think it depends on the person not the gender!!!}

There are a number of factors that come into play when answering this question, and i don't think it has ever been answered definitively.
If this is for college research you might want a more reliable source than a bunch of strangers who have no actual expertise in the area.

I've noticed more boys advanced in math while females exhale in English and get better at math later in life like in their early to mid 20's.

being the salutatorian of my freshman class, u could say boys are smarter, but although i have a higher grade in algebra 2, im gonna say girls are smarter in almost all subjects cuz we have a girl genius in our class (who scored 1280 on the sat in 7th grade) in which the only things i beat her in are math and foreign language.

Historically, it has always been believed that overall, men excel in math, women in verbal skills. I think many studies have shown this. However, current trends in education are blurring that distinction. You see much more language in math now (i.e. word problems). Math includes so much more than just calcuations nowadays- school work is often based on process and creative problem solving, and grades reflect that.
So when it comes to logic, problem solving, spatial intelligence... males have the biological advantage. But put math into real-world context, and women dominate.

I've noticed all throughout my years of schooling that men are better at math but grrls can be good it too it depends on where they went to school and if the students put in the effort to learn the material also you have tech yourself the plug-ins and formulas too.
