I met this guy in college. He's from Chicago & both parents are lawyers. He's about 5'5 and 125#.He has long thin black hair, tattoos, and a tounge ring. He wears big baggy clothes, loves to flaunt his parents' money and flashy cars, and drinks and smokes extensively. We talk almost every night online and on the phone. When we do, he expresses how into me he is and how he will do anything for me, he loves me unconditionally, etc.He knows I feel the same way.We don't see each other much in person b/c of both of our overloaded schedules, but when we do, he gets extremely nervous. I mean, to the point of physically shaking. This can even be when I'm doing nothing more than sitting next to him, just talking. He also doesn't say much in person, I'm usually the one that does all the talking. One day, shortly after I met him, after class,he wanted to show me the tattoo on his back. When he took off his shirt, I could see that he was visibly shaking. Why is this?? How can I get him to relax?

Okay, he flaunts his parent's money and flashy cars and stuff probably because he is trying to impress you. Everyone does this to some extent. He's just nervous.
If you want him to relax, then you need to be the most human person you can be. Be warm and natural with him. Be imperfect. If you are into him too, then I suggest you just break the ice and kiss the guy already. Once that pent up energy gets released, the shaking should subside. It sounds to me like it's adrenaline and anxiety he's suffering from. Give him a little excitement.

I would have some questions for him, this doesn't sound normal to me. I think you'd better forget about his parents money and whatever he drives because it looks like he's got something on the schedule that doesn't concern you, get me.

I don't know the name off the top of my head, but there are some disorders out there that involve trembling. My friend had this problem- his hands always shook violently. It was a neurological disorder.

Why don't you when you see him maybe watch a movie and lean your head on his shoulder Not leaning it over like putting your head infront of him on the shoulder/chest section? (this could work if you get tired of talking and he wont just do that and look into the distance, he may put his arm around your arm... if he does clutch it *not hard*)
