counseling. they may have apprehensive feelings about being a parent (responsibility) to someone who will answer back one day.

I'd tell them to grow up. Love is a choice. You an either act lovingly toward someone or hatefully. Tell whoever it is they are being selfish. They are lashing out at an innocent person.
