Just joking. Heres the real question:

Why is it that whenever I see a guy looking at me, I turn away really quickly and blush?(Even if they're ugly) Is it because I'm shy? Could it be my {lack of} self esteem? What is it?

Hey kiddo...shouldn't you be concentrating on your education right now?? Boys will always be around.

dang, even if they're ugly too?

what kind of self-esteem have you got? I don't know.

all I know in times like this, is when you really don't know what to do, try something completely out of your character, and see what happens.

Next time, when they look at you, and you know that dude kind of well or something, go up to them and be like "What's Up?" and start a conversation

or even one of them real ugly fellas, go up to them, start a conversation. Twirl your hair. Stay until you are suddenly repulsed. Or if that doesn't happen right away, stay until you've talked enough to realize that the guy is normal, not a god, not a king, not very very super, just an ugly ol' boy that goes to your school and maybe likes the Phoenix Suns who knows.

I just looked at your photo album. You're gorgeous! The reason you blush and get embarrassed is because you're flattered and don't know how to handle the attention. It all comes with experience and confidence, and there's not much I can do to advise you on that. The obvious answer is just to be yourself, but everyone knows it's not always that easy :)

Get back to me if you want to talk about it x

Oh my gosh! Okay, a few days ago, I was walking home from band, and this kid on a bike smiled at me as he passed by me, and I have him the smallest smile ever back! Like, I smiled, but it was the kind of smile I give to anyone who I don't know looks at me. I really didn't expect it because my hair was all messed up and stuff, so I couldn't believe that I acted so dorky! It's okay. Boost up your confidence. Don't be like me-if they smile, smile back and say "Hi." How else are you supposed to start a relationship with anyone?

The real question is why are you blushing. To me it's just like when you find out a nerd has a crush on you (yes, the one with the glasses!) you are happy that someone likes you and you probably are a little embarresed because you don't like him back.

By the way it's more fun to assume people are looking at you because you're cute.

Sex at 13? Focus on school, please. You have the rest of your life for guys. When you're ready, we're a dime a dozen. Without education your selection of guys goes from any, to many, to quite a few, to few, to whoever and whenever. Guys will always be there but education won't.

Dude, this is so common its not even funny. He intimidates you, and/or you're really shy, after a while you can look at him right in the face, give it a few years lol Don't think low self-esteem would be the reason

Y do you do that? I dunno, have you gone out w/ guys before? it may just be your not used to them. For girls like you, this sort of thing dissolves in stages depending on social class.
1 if popular, you will gain confidence as you get to know guys which will happen quickly, as we are very hard to avoid

2 If moderately popular (as in 3-8 friends) you will find yourself looking at certain guys with admiration and eventually gain courage enough (don't worry if you embarrasse yourself: it happens and if you are dead set on avoiding it, be careful on who you try to get along with until your confidence grows)

Your shy indeed...You never had any boyfriends before?
If you have one...and he is a very good friend practise looking at each other with him...you will see its all in your head/mind...and you will become stronger against it.Soon..its nothing at all.
If you dont have any boyfriends...go practise with your brother, nephew, any other male family you can trust...and talk with your parents too..they love you, help you and support you no matter what.

You are shy, which is nothing to be ashamed of.
You probably have lots of self-esteem to, just don't put down yourself.

"sex at 13, just joking" hehe.. that was funny. the title certainly got my attention.

but yah, you're just shy. nothing to worry about.

if a guy looks at you, smile back at him next time.. force yourself to overcome your shy feelings..
