Noticed clicking from the starter on occasion andand now happens to not start. I tested the starter and all was well. I have replaced the ignition switch, and have yet to resolve the problem. What else could there be or what else can I do?

Usually a clicking noise, over and over is the battery. Did you test the battery before you change the starter? Did you have the starter bench tested before you bought a starter? Next was it rebuilt? By who? Did the starter solenoid come with starter or not. I sold Auto Parts for 36 years I've seen alot of starters right off the shelf that were bad. If you can let me know some of these things, I can be of more help. Sorry I just thought of another thing I needed to ask you. Is it a standard or not if it is, it could be the neutral safety switch. That's the switch that won't allow you car to start, without the clutch pedal being depress.

The starter has a solenoid and that's what's clicking likely. Take to starter to autozone or checker and that they'll verify the unit for you at no charge or any automobile factors shop.
