SUBSTANTIATE, To prove is almost impossible. So I stand by substantiate...the word means to hold true to the belief or answer held, backed up by facts or data. Not all can be proved or substantiated..some must be by belief or faith alone. ie: I cannot prove that traffice will be good tomorrow but I believe it might...one can only prove something that has happened and believe in what may.

The best word for prove is sign seeking. As Jesus Christ explained,
"An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign." (Matthew 12:39)
Further scriptural accounts concerning sign seeking can be found in:
Matthew 16:4; Luke 11:29; Luke 11:16; John 2:18; John 4:48; and 1 Corinthians 1:22.

Proofs only really matter in math, logic, and distilleries. We don't know anything absolutely certainly. That's why scientists don't deal in proofs. They deal in theories.

A theory is a statement that is:
1) Well defined
2) Is a statement that you can weigh evidence against

Scientists make theories and weigh evidence against the theory to test the theory. Creationism is ill-defined. You can't think of any evidence that, if you find it, would show Creationism to be false. It is unfalsifiable. It is not a theory.
