Every living individual has a spirit. Spirit is the life itself, it is the energy, living energy that makes us move, think etc. It was temporary given to us. Man compose of physical body, soul and spirit. Soul is our spritual body, like angels have spiritual body. When a person dies, the Spirit (the life energy that was temporary given to us) will go back to to YHWH Elohim. That Life energy is no way a Human form. Since the baby was not born yet, His soul or the spiritual body probably not been made yet. But there is the so called 1000 years reign of Yahshua Messiah where children won't die and live 100 years or more. Those unborn babies could be brought back to life to experience life and have the chance to learn the right way. They will be taught Yahweh's way. After 1000 years Satan will be released to test and subject them to temptation like all their parents that were subject to the same temptations. Many will depart from the right way. In short don't worry about the baby because he or she is blessed to be, probably come to existence on the 1000 year reign of Yahshua Messiah which is free from temptation and suffering. So, don't be sad. Cheer up.

The question is: Do babies go to heaven when they die? Let's look to the Bible for the answer. Genesis 3:19, Job 34:15, and Ecclesiastes 3:20 make it very clear that when a person dies - whether it be baby, teenager, or adult - he/she goes back to the dust of the ground, or the earth. There is no spirit that lives inside the body that goes off to live in heaven after death, according to Genesis 2:7 and Ezekiel 18:4. Since death is the end of life, a person that is dead will not continue to grow in age. So, when a baby dies, the baby does not grow up; rather he/she goes back to dust. If you'd like more information on this subject or any other Bible subject, feel free to speak with Jehovah's Witnesses in your area.

The progress of the soul in infinite. An infant that leaves this world receives special favors and bounties from God and will continue to progress throughout all the worlds of God.

1. "Know thou of a truth that the soul, after its separation from the body, will continue to progress until it attaineth the presence of God, in a state and condition which neither the revolution of ages and centuries, nor the changes and chances of this world, can alter. It will endure as long as the Kingdom of God, His sovereignty, His dominion and power will endure. It will manifest the signs of God and His attributes, and will reveal His loving kindness and bounty."

2. "As to the question whether the souls will recognize each other in the spiritual world: this fact is certain; for the Kingdom is the world of vision where all the concealed realities will become disclosed. How much more the well-known souls will become manifest. The mysteries of which man is heedless in this earthly world, those he will discover in the heavenly world, and there will he be informed of the secret of truth; how much more will he recognize or discover persons with whom he hath been associated. Undoubtedly, the holy souls who find a pure eye and are favored with insight will, in the kingdom of lights, be acquainted with all mysteries, and will seek the bounty of witnessing the reality of every great soul. Even they will manifestly behold the Beauty of God in that world."

3. "... a love that one may have entertained for any one will not be forgotten in the world of the Kingdom. Likewise, thou wilt not forget (there) the life that thou hast had in the material world."

4. “The inscrutable divine wisdom underlies such heart-rending occurrences. It is as if a kind gardener transfers a fresh and tender shrub from a narrow place to a vast region. This transference is not the cause of the withering, the waning or the destruction of that shrub, nay rather it makes it grow and thrive, acquire freshness and delicacy and attain verdue and fruition. This hidden secret is well-known to the gardener, while those souls who are unaware of this bounty suppose that the gardener in his anger and wrath has uprooted the shrub. But to those who are aware this concealed fact is manifest and this predestined decree considered a favor. Do not feel grieved and disconsolate therefore …”

I believe that "age" as such is an earthly concern relevant only to the physical bodies we are given. Our soul, however, is intact at conception, and remains with the body until physical death occurs, whether that is before birth, at birth, age 5 or age 80. Our soul is intact for eternity. It returns to the Father. Our choice, while we are here, is to grow our soul in alignment with God's will as much as we possibly can. We do this by the choices we make. A baby's soul, even an unborn's, is as precious to the Father as a saint's soul. It too, has it's purpose here, whether we know it our not. Perhap your baby's conception and loss was meant as a growth process for you and your loved ones. I'm am so very, very sorry for your loss. I know from experiences that even though unborn, you still loved your baby with all your heart. Pray hard, and you will reunite with your child's soul in Heaven. Until then, may God be with you and the Spirit comfort you.

Turn this over to GOD, and he will take care of everything. There are things that the bible really doesn`t mention about what we are like before we get here and where we originate from. It does say that Jesus knows us by name before we leave heaven to come to earth. I am sure though, that the baby will be in wonderful hands and be taken care of. Regardless, we are guaranteed to know and be with our loved ones again when we return to heaven.

When we get to Heaven we get new bodies and new spirits anyway, perfect, immortal bodies. So the baby won't stay a baby. We'll probably look very different too.

Heaven is for all eternity and I don't think anyone ages in Heaven. I think age is a sign of decaying and is impure. Heaven is only for pure things, so I don't think age excites in Heaven.

No, you mean "goes"...
But this is another problem I have with the whole heaven thing. If the baby dies in the womb, it's still a fetus. Tiny, not able to move or think or breathe... What would it do in heaven? Doesn't make any sense.

Matthew 22:29-30 (KJV) 29Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

30For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

(Message Version) 29-33Jesus answered, "You're off base on two counts: You don't know your Bibles, and you don't know how God works. At the resurrection we're beyond marriage. As with the angels, all our ecstasies and intimacies then will be with God. And regarding your speculation on whether the dead are raised or not, don't you read your Bibles? The grammar is clear: God says, 'I am—not was—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob.' The living God defines himself not as the God of dead men, but of the living." Hearing this exchange the crowd was much impressed.
