yeah dump that dumb *****. lol I am just kidding. No it isn't ok to break up with her because of that but I suppose if you are looking for an excuse that is as good as any

ummm.. not a legitimate reason to dump the girlfriend... just your consideration of such.. is a good reason for you NOT to become a Police Officer, though...
...and BTW... Some consider Plato and Aristotle to have founded two of the most important schools of Ancient philosophy; others consider Aristotelianism as a development and concretization of Plato's insights.
Aristotle was a student of Plato, and a teacher of Alexander The Great... it's not that UNCOMMON to intertwine their philosophies....(jerk!)

Only if she's a philosophy student. Confusing Plato with Aristotle would show that she never paid attention in class and probably picked the major for no reason, therefore having no ambition whatsoever.

You just want to dump her, and are looking for an easy way out
If you want to dump her, dump her.
If she asks why, tell her the truth. Don't tell her it's because she confuses Plato with Aristotle 'cause you KNOW that's not the true reason for why you are dumping her.
Even if it hurts. Yeah, break-ups are painful, even for the dumper. But you gotta suck it up, and do it.

sounds like there are more underlying issues behind your relationshiop if you're contemplating dumping her simply for confusing Aristotle with Plato . I would try to figure out why you're relatiopnship isn't working, rather than dump her for such a trivial reason.

Yes. Either dump her or in-roll her in a first year philosophy class. This sort of thing is unacceptable.
