Keep him. If you really love him, you'll invest in the surgery needed to fix the "ugly" problem. Love's hard to come by, plastic surgeons are a dime a dozen.

You have to ask yourself: What are my priorities?
Just make a list of pros and cons. Besides, he can't help it that you don't like the way he looks. Think about guys that you think are good looking, but don't think the same about you. Would you want them to hold that against you? If it just has to do with the way he dresses or the way he cuts his hair, you can help him find something that would flatter him more.
I personally don't go by looks, but I do understand the difference it makes when you are attracted to the person physically. Love is also blinding, sometimes in bad ways, sometimes in good ways. If you truly love him, you will think he's beautful no matter what he looks like.
What you need to think about is how empty your heart could feel without him. You can have the most handsome man in the world, but he can't make you feel as happy as the plain man.

How do you feel about him? Not what other people think! If he's nice to you and treat you special that is what you need no matter what people say. I made that mistake and my life was affected by that. I had gotten rid of someone who was not attractive and had a beautiful attitude for a popular guy who didn't treat me special at all. PLEASE don't do what I did. And if this is someone you really don't want to be with DO NOT LEAD HIM ON, just treat him the way you want to be treated and don't hurt his feelings.Leave him with his manhood.

It depends on how you feel about him and what your priorities on what you look for in a man. Attraction or character? If you have genuine feelings for the guy, then you will overlook the lack of appearance over time. Looks fade over time anyway, but charcter is forever.
On the other hand, if his uglyness is too much for you to take, dump him and save yourselves the pain. The longer you two stay together the more painful the break-up.

Love can be a shallow thing sometimes. But you HAVE to be physically attracted to your partner....otherwise, it just won't work between you two.
I've been with guys who weren't as cute as others, and I still went out with them. I ended up finding one certain thing about their looks that I just adored, and focused on that.....for some reason, that one thing, combined with their great personality really makes a difference in how you see them physically. Its interesting.

Looks shouldn't matter. My boyfriend is a bit over weight but I don't care. I love him and he's nice to me. But if you don't like his good heart in a romantic way then it would be good for you to move on so you don't end up hurting him.

keep him. I worked with this guy who is not the best looking according to everyone else but after I got to know him he seemed like the most amazing guy ever and it doesn't even matter what he looks like. I can see who he really is.

I think it is better to have a homely boyfriend who is nice to you, treats you with respect, and makes you feel good than a handsome guy who breaks you down emotionally and ruins your self-esteem. I feel the same way about girls.

id say keep him....cuz if hes nice then keep him....my boyfriend aint tha hottest out there but i am some what attracted to him but not alot of ppl are...but u know i got with him and i fell in love with him!!!...but in tha same sense is he ur type at all do u like him or what?...also if not alot of girls think hes hot then u dont have to worrie about otha girls flirting with him thas ALWAYS a plus!

Dont dump him just because he is ugly.Beauty is only skin deep.It is whats on the inside that counts.Looks is not what makes the person.The person makes the looks.
