I asked this guy to hang out after school, he said sure, but im not sure if he thinks im desperate(WHICH IM NOT! hehe) or if he appreciates my confidence.

you know what, so much of women nowadays we have to have the confidence
'cause the men wanna be punk asses and lean against the wall, and now we haveta do all the work
just because we burned the bras and wanted suffrage doesn't mean we asked to do all the work, geez
you better watch your back with him.... he shouldn't say much that you asked him but be on your p's and q's, don't ask him anything else.
Wait for HIM to suggest something to do, next time. If he was really feeling your conversation after school, maybe sometime in the future, he'll ask YOU.

Not all all desperate. I wish more girls would have asked me out.
I would not have to deal with rejection. It is not easy being shot down all the time.

Define "hang out". Means different things to different people. I personally would be flattered if a girl asked me to hang out.

If you were on your knees as if you were praying for him to do it, was oozing out of your mouth and you were bawling you might look desperate...
If all you said was "Hey...wanna hang out?" with no expectations, then no, you didn't look desperate

No it is not desperate, he probably thinks it is cool you asked him instead of him having to ask you. You have confidance and to him that should be sexy.

girl, if i were you i would have took my time. if i like some guy i let him ask me out, you know dress myself up and get pretty, i think the boy should ask the to go out with him. and by the way, did he say yes?
