What kind of paint should you use to paint on glass?

Not stained glass. I have a window and would like to paint on it.

i sand the glass with fine paper pretty good for tooth, and apply polyurethane oil based enamels (they come in many colours) the rattle cans of spray paint are too easily removed.

Spray paint. It leaves a clean smooth finish it done correctly without drips. Mask areas not to be painted

I just use puffy paint and permanent paints are good to but you have to be careful of drips.
