I think a little one might be called 'Tay Tay' (I don't like it) or 'Tater'.

Taylor is used by both girls and boys so I guess it depends on the gender of the person.
I think Tat is kinda cute for a girl.
Tal would be nice for a boy nickname.

Well, my best friend is called Taylor, and we call him either T-man, Taylor Baylor, Mukruk the unclean, or Shnookie bumbums. I hope this helps.
