he's pretty mature and isn't a pervert ( at least on the outside ) so its not like he just wants to get some.

Unfortunately dear, boys at that age can change their minds overnight as so much of their feelings are tied to there hormones that it is usually physical in nature. I know at that age I fell in love almost every 5 minutes ( I kid, but you get my point).

Yes, guys can not only change their minds, some see no problem with having more than one girlfriend at a time. And sex always crosses a guys mind with a woman, no matter what she looks like. We may flinch away, but the thought still runs through real quick. I think it's automatic. At least it is for me. However, I've been married 18 years and have never cheated on my wife. We all have desires, it doesn't mean with have to always follow them.

hmm, interesting situation, here are some of my thoughts: i think you should see if you can move the tutor venue to a neutral location: ie a library?, school cafeteria? are just some suggestions drop 'hints' that you are taken and therefore arent 'rejecting ' him because he is not your type but rather you dont want to 'cheat'. talk about your last date, how great the dude was, what things your bf bought for you dont give him ANY encouragement; dont accept any more gifts(not even the simple ones like candy/chocolate), no more hugs/touching of any kind, try not to talk to much about stuff besides tutoring and your 'boyfriend'

From my experience, it literally takes 2 days.

The guy that I liked was very into me on a Tuesday, and by the next time I saw him, on Thursday, he HATED me, and pretty much never flirted with me again.
