Yes, He would hardly be God if he didn't. I think the problem is that we've forgotten how to listen for God's answer. The other thing we have to accept is that sometimes God says no or takes His time in answering, or answers us in a way we didn't expect or want. The quote above gives a good start to a prayer posture that allows God to speak to you. Also realize that God can speak directly to our hearts, through events, through nature, through other people etc. We have to do our part in this relationship and that means turning off all of the noise and distractions . In regular periods of silence and quiet we can hear God speak to us in a very personal way.

Yes, God hears all prayers, but there is a stipulation to ones prayers being answered. Those who are "Unbelievers," meaning those who have not been given a new birth through the gift of the Holy Spirit cannot address God as their "Father" and for that reason the only prayer God will answer regarding them (any unsaved person) is "Lord, save me," (example, one may petition the same request in a different manner).
But, once one has been adopted by God and becomes His child through the gift of the Holy Spirit, he or she has the all the rights and privileges as any child of God. For those who are His children, God does answer all prayers, sometimes He says "Yes," sometimes He says "No," and then there times He says "Wait a while."
Even still, for we, who are His children we still pray in accordance to His will for our lives, this also is done through the gift of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus.

Psalm 66 states that if we regard sin in our heart, that God will not hear us. The stipulation on God hearing us, is to turn to God and our wicked ways, and to seek His face. Notice, to seek His face, not His hand. You can't seek God out in a selfish manner, if you desire for the land to be healed.
If you put away your desire for God to answer you in a way that you see fit, you are on your way. If you decide that you want to worship in His idea of a church, not your idea, or anyone elses, then you are further on your way.
Ask God to lead you on His path, not your idea of His path, and you will be well on your way.
Hope this helps

Yes . . . God hears all our prayers. He actually knows what we are going to think, say, pray for even before we utter one word or thought. Us expressing in prayer is simply bringing and awakening the focus of the prayer to own own heart . . . and that in itself is part of the prayer beginning to be discovered and answered. We are of God, God is within us already, so when the thought of the prayer formulates within us, the prayer has already been heard. The outcome of that prayer is just yet to be ' played out ' .

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
And to the tribe of Thamud, We sent their brother Salih. He said, 'O my people, worship God; you have no god other than Him. He raised you up from the earth and settled you therein. So ask forgiveness of Him, then turn to Him wholly. Verily, my Lord is nigh, and answers prayers.'

No, Lamentations 3:44 says "thou has covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through." While other modern Bibles say "you have blocked approach to yourself with a cloud mass, that prayer may not pass through."
What this is in reference to is that not every prayer is pleasing to God and that those who commit repetitive prayers or those who do not pray from the heart are meaningless to him. Christ himself taught us proper prayer methods and WHAT to pray for the night before he died.

Yes, He does and He answers them, sometimes NOT in the way we would like, but nonetheless, He does answer our prayers.
