To love and be in love are two totally different things. Like this: you love your family but your not in love with them right? same thing with a partner. You can love them forever and care what happens to them but maybe not be in love with them forever.

I don't think most people set out to break someone else's heart. It's part of the game of life.
Love is only forever if both people work at building and evolving the relationship over time. If the relationship is static, or the people involved are most interested in themselves than the relationship then ultimately there will be a break-up.

Nope. Just look at the divorce rate in this country, it's at an all time high. After two years of marriage, the love thing starts to fade and the everyday routine starts to take over.

OK, so you got your heart broken - amazingly one day it will heal. My darling, love is eternal - it's finding it that's tricky! If he dumped you all you can do is accept that he didn't want to put the effort to mend the problems within the relationship and move on. Pick up the pieces of your broken heart and move on. Love will come - I promise.

Nope, its never forever. I used to believe in soul mates and all that. And the "one" for you etc. After 2 mistakes of thinking shes the one. i am retired from this dating game, and im only 21. **** world, **** life. Who cares anyway, we dont live that long.

It can be if you find the one person who completes you. I know it sounds cliche but the only way to know is if he can deal with your mood swings, your way of living and of your habits. I think if you can work as a team and get through anything, it will be forever.

well one of two things...either nothing is forever and love has the potential to fade away if the person changes.
but if you ask me love dosnt fade, love actually lasts forever, otherwise its not love, its just a crush or some form of lust.

people have a different definination of forever...some love you for a season and some for a lifetime...and the trouble is you have wasted precious time on dead beats trying to find the right kind of mate....sad
