Hi, I'm 17 years old and weight 170 pounds. My height is 5 foot 8 in a half and I want to lose atleast 10-15 pounds before New Years. I am able to excerise as much as possible, and I'd like in details what should I eat and when? Also, what I should do for excersises. Im not allergic to anything also.

You don't need to lose a huge amount of weight. If you make a few life style changes you should be able to lose some of that weight within the time frame you have set for yourself. This is a system that has worked well for me and several friends have also been successful with it.

1. Eat three nutritious meals and three snacks everyday. Cut out junk food and all fast food and all fried food. You probably need to continue eating about 1500 to 1800 calories a day. Many people make the mistake of not eating enough when they try to lose weight and then become discouraged.

2. Drink lots of water - at least 8 big glasses as day. Lots of water is essential. Stop drinking soda and other drinks with useless calories. Eat fresh fruit instead of fruit juices - the juices are very high in calories.

3. Begin a simple weight lifting program at home or at a gym. Ordinary household items (tins of soup, for example) can actually serve as weights for beginners. Buy yourself a good weight lifting book. Actually the "dummies" series of books has done a rather good one. Keep lifting weights after the new year - you will thank yourself later.

4. Walk, walk, walk. Buy yourself a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day.

5. Record everything you eat and all your exercise to make sure you have a "calorie deficit". Two of the sites I've included will help you do that. Basically burning more calories than you take in leads to weight loss. You need a deficit of 3500 calories to lose one pound.

6. If you drive, do less of it and park at the back of the parking lot instead of close to the door. Always use stairs - never the elevator or escalator.

7. A mini stepper is an easy piece to equipment to have at home and gives great results. I bought mine at a second hand store for $4. Even if you use it for a minute or two several times a day it can make a big difference.

Alright here is your plan you have 3 weeks, and plenty of energy. Eat 6 times a day exspecially breakfast like oatmeal(fiber), for a snack eat some almonds or fruit, for, lunch I like to make smoothies(fresh strawberries, bananas, plain yogurt, ice, peanut butter, other berries) Blend and freeze the rest for another meal replacement. Eat another small meal packed with protein or eat a salad. Then Dinner, chicken breast lightly seasoned, broccoli for Fiber, brown rice. That's just a hint of what you should eat it's the 6 times that's the key and no soda. Now for the workout, do cardio 3 times a week and the other 3 days lift the weights. remember you are trying to burn the Calories, so the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn even when you are sleeping. You might gain 3-5lbs but you will lose 10-20lbs after all.. might also use the sauna to lose some of the water weight.

Have you tried a cleanse? I've been trying excercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. But with cleaning and exercising I lost 18 lbs in a month. I tried Isagenix 9 day cleanse. I'm going to do it again next month. It's a little pricy but it's the only one I've tried that worked with weight loss. My doctor recommended it to me. With a good cleanse you can lose up to 10 lbs in 9 days. And it's not just water weight. Just cleanse, eat healthy and exercise at least 1 hour 3 times a week. Even if it's just walking around the mall or the track. I'm now on month 2 and I've lost a total of 26 lbs. Good luck.

My advice is to NOT listen to my advice, but - the fastest way to lose a massive amount of weight is to get a stomach-stapling (or lap-band).

But, beware - your life will change significantly when you are no longer able to eat.

You need to examine the reasons why you eat and why you have put on weight. You also need to STOP being in such a hurry to lose weight - weight lost quickly tends to go back on just as quickly AND MORE..

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

You should use the Atkins diet works great, Boiled eggs for breakfast and tuna and steamed veg's for lunch and baked chicken breast with salad on the side drink lots of water no carbs really works, running and Billy Blanks works magic, just stick with a routine and you will loose your weight, but what you eat makes a big difference in your life, Good luck.

Portions are the most important - eat smaller meals a few times a day, and avoid fats and sweets.
Running is one of the best things to do to lose overall weight, just make sure you exercise consistently.

eat less of what u did b4! Boil ur chicken or bake it!! Eat baked potatoes instead of fries! U can eat da same but a little less of it not alot! I am 14 and da only way i lost weight i helped my mom and dat is what me and her did! I was 130 now i am 117.
