Adam and Eve were not brother and sister; Eve was Adams rib.
Their children did marry each other.
Later (when there were enough people) God said that it was no longer right to do that (I think in the book of Leviticus).

Actually, despite the fact that so many people believe that the Old Testament doesn't allow for incest clearly haven't read Genesis. Adam and Eve were indeed related because Eve came from Adam's rib, i.e. she was almost a clone of Adam. The first batch of humans that were born from Adam and Eve would've had no choice but to have kids with their brothers and sisters.
The Old Testament is very confusing about where most of humanity really came from. In some chapters, Adam and Eve are the original parents. In other chapters, foreign lands are the source of wives and husbands.

If you read the Bible and understand that in the beginning that there was only brothers and sisters to get things started then after a time God changed the way things went on.
Go to Leviticus chapter 18 and start in verse 6 and there is a list of all the people you are not to sleep with. In verse nine says you are not to sleep with your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother whether she was born at home or abroad you shall not sleep with her
Therefore the Bible says a brother and sister shall not have kids together nor even sleep together.
I pray you are not doing this for it is an abomination unto God for are defiling your own body.

The Adamic principle is as such that Adam and Eve were perfect in their body. Unlike the generations past as we got further away from the adamic couple our dna left perfection behind beacuse of sin in the world.
GOD gave the laws to moses for a reason. Up to that time families were created through close relatives. When GOd gave the laws things changed. Hence if anyone failed to adhere ti the laws there was a consequence .Adam and Eves consequence was to be kicked out of eden. Our consequence is deformity.

Adam & Even were not siblings, however, their children, who populated the world, were. So, you wonder, isn't that wrong, then. This is actually a very good question which many theologians struggle with. It seems, perhaps, however, that during hte time of Adam and Eve, this was necessary, obviously, to populate the world, and was not condemned until later on (perhaps after the tower of Babel, when people were spread out into all ends of the earth).

no this isn't hypocritical because Adam and eve were created to be man and wife
their kids probably married each other too but nothing was said against that
not until many decades later were there any laws about close relatives marrying each other in the laws of moses (Leviticus)
Abram and Sarah were half brother and sister - that was not uncommon - most Pharaohs were known to keep it in the family too - and many congenital conditions emerged as a result because of faults beginning to occur in the DNA - which is why folks are now banned from marrying to closely in to days society
nothing to do with being hypocritical just a matter of having healthier offspring

In the book of Leviticus God said that should not be done. However prior to this book it was practised and no one thought much about it.Do a study of the bible before you call things hypocritical. You state one or two verse of a chapter and yet you don't get the whole story. You hear and read what you want to, to prove your little point.

The Bible does not, in any way, allow brother and sister to have children. Adam and Eve were not brother and sister, and therefore, were allowed to have children together.

No because Adam and Eve had superior bodies to our own. During Moses' time God gave Moses instructions to forbade Ist cousins to marry.
Many centuuries of genetic 1st cousin marriages of those who didn't listen to Moses have caused genetic fallout..

In the beginning it was okay for siblings to marry. That was the only way. The gene pool was pure, and there was no law for another 2000 years. Once the law was given-then it was forbidden.
