If my girlfriend was ill I would stay in to be with her. I guess that is why I am single. Ah well, nice guys finish last.

Anyway here's some fun ideas:
Read Snoopy - http://www.unitedmedia.com/comics/peanuts/index.html
Watch fantastic cartoons - http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/
Watch Doctor Who in cartoon form - http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/webcasts/index.shtml
Read my blog (updated every day) - http://uk.360.yahoo.com/monkeymanelvis
Watch this - http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2671748
20,000 free online books to read - http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page

You could also:
Write a short story
Sing a song
Draw a cool funny comic
Take up a hobby you can do from bed like knitting
Make a list of things to do when you are well
Play with yourself (sometimes there is nothing else to do)
Capture a spider and train it as a pet
Become a master of shadow puppets
Design a time machine
Err... make a paper ship in a paper bottle...
I have no more ideas!

Anyway - have fun whatever you do. And make your boyfriend feel guilty when he gets back!

What do you do when your fiance puts the hold on the account so you don't spend the money that is going towards the wedding?

I am in the same boat. I am bored. Tv is no fun, books only are good until you are done, you can only scrapbook so much, computer is overrated and the internet gets boring after awhile.

I would try suduku. Or how about talking on the phone. I am so bored too. I feel for you

Jigsaw puzzles are always good or
compiling your family tree or
start writing your life story/family history
writing poetry or
wordsearch puzzles or
crossword puzzles or
setting goals for 2007 and beyond.
Review your life...apart from being bored due to operation, is it as you hoped or would like? What changes will make it more fulfilling?

You could make some christmas decorations and cards.

Sudoku puzzles are good to keep your brain occupied - there are usually a couple in the Saturday papers.

You can build up your points total here on YA.

Good luck to you for a speedy (and not boring!) recovery.

Go to chatroom or u can also go to www.friendster.com or www.myspace.com and make your own profile there. You can meet new friends and find old friends there and able to communicate with them again. You can also try learning how to do cross stitching. You can do it while you are on your bed. It just need a good eyesight though. Or let someone buy you a Christmas cards and gifts. You can write and wrap gifts to your family and friends while you are in bed.

Learn to crochet. I'm dead serious. I just started, I'm 20 years old and I'm obsessed with it. It takes a while to learn - but just get a good book or look it up on the internet. There are some surprisingly cool things you can make too: bikinis, toboggans, skirts, jewelry, scarves.... I'm working up to try this: http://www.theanticraft.com/archive/lugh06/asphyxiation.htm

Try simple beading projects. Have someone bring you some beads, tiger tail wire, crimp beads, barrel clasps and crimping pliers.

Write letters and cards to people. It is always nice to get something in the mail and doing good deeds does help the body heal faster.
