My parents are the greatest. They do everything for me. I want this Christmas to be about them. I dont want to expect things, I want them to expect things. I respect them greatly, they work so hard and it seems like people walk all over them and nobody does things for them. I love them so much, they mean the world to me, they gave me life, and raised me to be respectful, and not to judge.

Some kids expect ipods, cellphones, digital cameras, but I dont want anything. I just want the gift of giving, and knowing that I can bring joy to my parents faces. I am still young, and I still love my parents. It seems like this year imparticular I am conscious about what to get them. I have no idea of thoughtful gifts. I want to fill up underneath the tree for them, and get my three siblings involved too.

My parents work so hard, I commend them. They brought us up , never believed in running out lives for us, and always gave us choices. They have taught me so many life lessons, that I will carry

Give them this question of yours. No parent could get a nicer gift, then their child's appreciation of them. There is no gift big enough to replace your loving words.

Well, the ultimate I love you - why don't you give to a good charity in their names. How about naming stars after them? I think that you should pick something unique. Volunteering at a soup kitchen or even dropping off groceries that you paid for with your parents as a gift for Christmas is a sweet gesture and shows how well your parents raised you. Naming a star (or two stars)after your parents seems expensive- but isn't. I think another way to show how much you have matured (in the sense that you don't want eccentric gifts like other kids this Christmas) is to adopt a child. I know it seems a little bit of a stretch - but that also does not cost much - ask them to donate a fraction of your allowance (unless you are grown and have a job - then donate a portion of your paycheck) I'm sure they would consider it a wonderful gift. It's so easy to get caught up in the spirit of receiving that we often forget to give.God Bless and Good Luck !

sounds like your very appreciative of them, thats awesome. I think if you make something, they'll love it. My friend made a quilt for her parents, it was amazing. She silk screened pictures of her parents on the quilt from their wedding, then pictures of them with their kids, with some of the memories that they've had. They also cut the outline of their hands in fabric and placed it all about. If you have the resources to do that, it would mean alot to them.
Try writing them a poem or something, that would be really nice if you're good at writing. How about getting a professional picture of you and your siblings framed for them. When you all get older and move out, they'd love it.
Gift certificates for a hot air balloon ride or a day at a spa.

Hope those ideas help

Who would know better than you what your parents like or need! But whatever you can buy won't be that special. What you say about them and your wish to make something special for them that's what you need to express, why don't you write them a letter and thank them for all their love and support?

Make breakfast for them one random morning and if you have the cash, buy them dinner at a restaurant. Make sure they can spend the evening quietly and together. And be sure to make sure you do all your chores so they aren't stressed out. Good luck!
