I have VoIP for over a year now, and never had any problems....read the review first, and then decide!

I got E911, and only had 1 power outage for 30 min....in that case all my calls go to my cell-phone automatically!
for some reason ppl who use comcast as there ISP have problems with it!

I don't have Vonage, but when I was considering signing on, one thing I noticed in their terms and conditions is that there is a disconnection fee of $40 per line if you terminate service after the trial period but before the first 12 months is up.

We have Vonage and we love it. There are a lot of features that put it ahead of the regular phone company. You will need a reliable high-speed internet connection though.

Yes, I have a friend who uses it from overseas, and its cheaper to call him that way because its like he has a stateside number
