I have this friend and hes my best friend and hes so cool and he likes me a whole lot and he keeps asking me out. What do i do!

Trim it and change it however you please. Just keep the sincerety and politeness intact.
But if you've already told him this and he keeps hounding you again and again, just flat-out say you're not interested in him... Yeah, it's straightforward and not the kindest of replies, yet it might get the message across better... But on second thought, a bad thing that might happen is that you thinks you don't care about him AT ALL and he'd want to call off the friendship. However, if you two stay friends and THAT didn't get him off your back, well... you might have to consider whether or not the friendship can endure if one of you is adamant on something more and the other wants to keep things as they were... It's pretty tough to keep things stable in these sort of situations... Don't expect an easy way to fix this if you've already tried it...

You seem really young. I would listen to my heart about this. If you really only love him as a friend you could kindly say that you don't want to spoil the wonderful friendship you have right now. This would be a completely honest approach. That's just a suggestion, so really search your own feelings before deciding.

I have been in this situation before...as nice as you can tell him you just don't think you want to go out with him, it might ruin your friendship. If he keeps insisting say that you already said what you have to and he has to live with that answer. You just need to really explain how you feel, if you do that he should understand.

Tell him that you value his friendship too much to ruin it by dating him, in case it didn't work out. Who knows? You might change your mind later.
