Congo:
The sources of the Congo are in the highlands and mountains of the East African Rift, as well as Lake Tanganyika and Lake Mweru, which feed the Lualaba River, which then becomes the Congo below Boyoma Falls. The Chambeshi River in Zambia is generally taken as the source of the Congo in line with the accepted practice worldwide of using the longest tributary, as with the Nile River.

The Congo flows generally west from Kisangani just below the falls, then gradually bends southwest, passing by Mbandaka, joining with the Ubangi River, and running into the Pool Malebo (Stanley Pool). Kinshasa (formerly Léopoldville) and Brazzaville are on opposite sides of the river at the Pool, then the river narrows and falls through a number of cataracts in deep canyons (collectively known as the Livingstone Falls), running by Matadi and Boma, and into the sea at the small town of Muanda.

Basin area: 752 000 km²

Lenam Mackenzie:
The Mackenzie River (French: Fleuve Mackenzie) originates in Great Slave Lake, in the Northwest Territories, and flows north into the Arctic Ocean. It is the longest river in Canada at 1,738 km and, together with its headstreams the Peace and the Finlay, the second longest river in North America at 4,241 km in length; only the Mississippi-Missouri is longer. The Mackenzie and its tributaries drain 1,805,200 square kilometers.[1] Its mean discharge is 9,700 cubic metres per second.

FIRST ANSWER (Before you told us the rivers you wanted).
They always flow to a body of water, a lake or the sea or the ocean. So, you may not be able to view an elevation map to tell which direction they flow (higher to lower elevation), but you can look at a regular map and see what body of water they empty into, then you know their direction.

If you would tell us the ten rivers, we could be more specific. You cannot just say all rivers flow north or south, because they do not. You may think most are southerly, but just here in the US:

Most rivers flow south. There are 2 rivers that I can think of that go ''against the flow''. Both the Nile River in Egypt and the Walkill River in the United States flow north.

Hi. Usually considered to be north/south or east/west. It depends on where the outlet is relative to the source. You can find this from a map of the river.

What I would do is take a compass and a toy boy to the rivers and put the boat into the water and hold up the compass and watch which way the boat floats ....

Just looking at Maps doesn't help?
Usually it ends into a sea, an ocean or a vast lake.
