I want to move out and in with my girlfriend and her mom. My parents treat me like I'm 12 and never give me any space, I'm 20 years old. I don't have a job and my girlfriend lives about an hour away and it would be like starting fresh, applying at places I've never been and just getting a chance to kind of restart. The only problem is, my mom thinks that I'm not going to move out till i'm like 25 and doesn't like the idea of me even staying the night at her house for more then one night. She treats my life like its her and always tell me to do everything her way and never lets me do anything myself. I need a way to tell them becuase I just can't figure out a way without them getting pissed at me and having my two brothers hating me for the rest of my life.

As long as its ok with your girlfriend and her mom, go for it. But try to get your own apartment once your on your own two feet with job and some money.

You're 20, live with your parents, and don't have a job? If you can apply for jobs in a new location, why can't you apply for jobs where you are now? Maybe your parents would appreciate you carrying some of your own weight, and maybe you could even get to the point you can afford to move out and live on your own. They couldn't stop you from doing that if you are able to support yourself.

If you are living in your parents house and, they are supporting you, and you are 20 then they own you. They make the rules you don't like it get a job, get out then you can do what you want.

If it's ok with your gf parents, just pack up and move. Your family can't stop you. They'll me mad for awhile, but not forever. Good luck job hunting.
