Can someone tell me when it is okay for a bride and groom to register at places for their wedding? I am getting married in September. When should I register?

And can I register without the fiance at home? I am so bored, I just want to do something without going shopping! I want to go spend the money we are saving because I have a huge shopping problem when I get bored. I just thought I could start without him and pass my time away!

Im getting married in June, and we registered over the summer, like right after we got engaged. We did this so the people that are coming out of town could get the gifts early, if thats what they wished. If you want some good places to register at heres some help.... remember, if you are having out of town guests, then register at places where there are stores all over the country!!

Walmart
Macy's
Target
Jc Penny
Ect...

Hope I could help! :)

I would go ahead and register as soon as possible!! I know that we waited until 4 months before our wedding and people had already started buying us gifts and wanting to know what we wanted or needed!! I don't think it is ever too early to register!!!

go ahead any time now some people will send gifts early. I also made sure to add some personal things to mine and told my family whenever they asked what I wanted for Christmas and my birthday. You can start the registry without him as you can also add later just look for basics not anything to particular. I even had tools for my man on there before we went together and it still took a long time.

I agree, with the exception it generally is a rule around 4 weeks before the first wedding shower.

So, just register when you choose to!!

You can register any time you wish - but ask him first so that he knows you are doing it, lol. Some guys will care, mine didn't - he told me to pick whatever I wanted, lol.
