probbbbabblly not a good idea to inject yourself with expired drugs. Although generally expiration dates are far earlier than needed and as drugs get older they usually just lose potency. Then again, other than in a rescue or hospital, you really shouldn't be dealing with it anyway.

When you take expired meds, the results can go from one end of the scale to the other....some meds lose their potency after the expiration date....some, in cases, get stronger...I would be careful about what I was taking it for...that is a powerful narcotic !!

I was under the illusion it loses potency, What I want to know is will it make you sick?

You put yourself in more danger which is pretty bad since you're already taking a dangerous drug.

I would advise against using expired prescriptions period.

If you have done this, contact a poison control center immediately. If you have not, do not do it. Better safe than sorry.

It doesn't have the same affect. The stuff that makes you numb doesn't work.
