i own a repair shop, and normally there really good cars ,,you need to take it back to who ever built it,,it should have a warranty on it,,so it shouldn't cost you nothing to get it fixed right,,good luck,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.

Neons have problems. Like most cars, there are "pattern failures" that happen over and over. In the neon the most common failure is the head gasket. Neons also share with all Chrysler products a higher than normal transmission failure rate. But if the problem you are having is again with the transmission, you should take it back to the shop that did the work. Chrysler transmissions have their problems, but they can be successfully repaired, if you know what you are doing.

If you take the car back to whoever did the transmission it will be under warranty and should be fixed free of charge. On the note of the neons, I have owned one for about two years and didnt have any problems untill the headgasket blew. I replaced it along with the timing belt, water pump ect so I dont have to do the job again. All cars have their flaws, but it seems like half the people have 100000+ on their neons and never touched them and then you have people ***** about how their transmission and headgasket went out at 75000. It is really a matter of luck, respectibly.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news butttt, Chrysler has a problem with transmissions for sometime.. had to stop for a cookie...Now i'm back..For some reason the Chrysler line has not resolved thier trans problem...Probably cause people haven't squawked enough..Tell you how bad....No car dealership stocks auto-trans on a regular basis,.....Chrysler does....Nuff said..

Take it back...you should have gotten a warranty on those transmission repairs that were just done. Then, trade it in.

tell them to by-pass the cooler in the radiator with an auxiliary cooler. the one in rad is most likely plugged up. flushing the cooler won't do any good.
