Housetraining a dog can be a real pain, I know. I own five dogs myself, and I can attest to just how much of a headache it is! A good thing to do is take her outside when you first wake up in the morning and again whenever she eats and right before bed. I don't believe in crate training, but if she sleeps in a crate then that may make things a bit easier for you. Whenever she does go potty outside make sure you praise her enthusiastically. A dog can tell when they've pleased you, so the more praise she gets for doing soemthing good, the more likely she will continue to do the things that make you praise her. As far as for the accidents she's had indoors, DO NOT use household carpet cleaners. They won't remove the odor completely and your dog will just continue to relieve herself there. A good product to lift both the odor and any stains from the carpet is Nature's Miracle. I use it for my house and guests can't see any evidence and the odor is removed from the carpet so well that the dogs don't find it intriguing to go again in the same place. Puppy pads are also a housetraining option, but if you have a dog like mine, then she'd rather shred the pad with her teeth than use it.

DO NOT let her in if she doesnt go to the bathroom. a puppy can only hold it's bladder for about seven hours, so watch her after she eats, and when she looks like she has to go, (i.e. sniffing around, circling, pacing) take her outside and watch her. She isnt allowed inside untill u see her go to the bathroom. When she does go, run outside and give her a treat and praise her extravagantly, pet her and tell her good girl. She'll get the idea pretty soon, boxers and germans are smart; eventually she figured out that u would let her in before she went, if she held it long enough. she knews that u would let her in, and she went when u let her in. it will take awhile to get her to understand, but some dogs go on command!!! Seeing eye dogs are trained to go to the bathroom at the command "hurry". its pretty cool.

Don't just turn her loose, take her out on a lead. Don't play with her. Take her to the same spot every time. Take treats out with you and when she "goes," give her one. Also give LOTS of praise. Make a huge deal about it. That helps her to learn what it is you want her to do out there.
If you don't have one, get a crate. Keep her in the crate while your away from home and asleep.
Take her out first thing in the morning, about 15 minutes after she eats, and about every hour or so. Try to learn her signals for when she's thinking about "going" and get her outside if you think she's got to go.

First of all, take her outside at regular intervals such as every hour. Praise her whenever she toilets outside. Scold her by saying NO whenever she goes in the house! Then take her directly back outside, and tell her to GO POTTY, or give her the command you prefer. It takes patience and consistency, but she'll catch on soon enough. Good luck!!!

You have to leave her a little longer, until she goes. You might be bringing her in too prematurely. Give her a chance to learn. I wouldn't leave her unattendend.

Use words like: "let's go outside!" "Let's go shoo-shoo!"

When doing so, pretend you're excited about letting her go outside. When she finally goes outside, give her a treat. I have 4 dogs and i've done this many, many times in the past. It works.. :o)

Use a keyword like potty and use it all the time when you take her out, ex." Lets go potty" and when she goes outside praise her. Be patient until she gets it. Sometimes it takes them a while.

Be grateful she knows how to use the bathroom. Does she flush when she's done? Does she remember to put the seat down?
