Hi David

You can cure it, but one has to have an open mind and look for answers outside the medical field. Modern medicine only suppress' the symptoms to other locations in the body, it never truly heals it. You actually have the right idea to not eat. I just did a 26 day cleanse without eating (only juicing organic fruits and vegetables) and drinking water in between. Using herbs to clean out out the colon, liver, and kidney.

Cleansing the body is a method Ive seen done many times with success and it doesn't matter how old you are. Must remove the toxins in the blood. One strategy is detoxifying with herbs, water, and juice fasting. One must educate himself on the subjects Ive mentioned and there are plenty of good cleansing techniques out there. Colon and Liver cleansing are two I would do right away. Here are a few websites and their programs I recommend.

Something must be working right, your here, if it were detrimental to your health and the doctors were worried you'd not only be sick but, in a hospital so, it can't be that bad.
Have you had a colonscopy? where they go up the back end with a scope with a lite on it and check the polyps, you did say you don't have IBS, I wanted to know how you knew. To many liquids will do this, to many fatty foods, have you tried a heavier concentration of roughage foods?
You may want to consider a teaching hospital like the "Mayo Clinic" ask you doctor for a referral, you'll have to guarantee then three days of doctor visits and testing to enter, a very good result with all the tests you'll get.

Have you been tested for Crohn's disease? Your symptoms sound like this could be the problem. I posted two reliable links where you can read about it.

Also, try cutting out anything with gluten for a while. This means ALL wheat products. You could have celiac disease.
