My teacher was saying how if you drink plenty of milk from the age of 1 to 25, you can prevent bone breaking later in life and you will have stronger bones, teeth, and you will live longer.
Is this true? If so, how much milk should I be drinking a day now, and will it make any difference between 1% milk and skim milk?

You have to be careful when you say "more milk you drink the better" up to a certain degree. You should get the amount right, because there is such a thing called drinking TOO much milk. (as with any food or drink).
However, it is true that clacium is important for bones and teeth. There isn't a direct link between milk and life length. There is a direct link between overall health and life length, and the calcium in the milk may improve your health, provided you take other vital minerals vitamins etc.
but the calcium is not JUST in milk, it can be found in many things! So don't feel you just have to drink milk everyday of your life!!

My French Bulldog puppy became raised on Esbilac puppy formula. he's at present 4 months previous and is doing tremendous. He had to be bottle fed because my woman did not produce milk as a results of an mistakes on my vet's area. If the mother dogs (or yet another woman with pups) is available it truly is perfect to allow the puppy to nurse from a dogs, yet when no longer i visit in my view vouch for Esbilac operating o.k.. you may purchase it at Petco/Petsmart.

it is true,
milk, unlike water, actually strenghts your bones, while soda softens your bones, making them easier to break and prone to bone related illnesses. You should drink ATLEAST 2 8 oz. glasses of milk a day. I prefer 2% milk, but 1% is just as good!!

If you get enough calcium in your diet during your youth years then yes you will have a better chance of not getting osteoporosis, in other words, bone breakdown. Living longer however, i don't know about that. There is no real scientific evidence to prove that.

In my opinion you should eat the right foods, but it's more important to do the right things and live your life according to the seven virtures. It's not what you eat, it's what you think and the way you live that determinds your health. If you practice this, than this will soon become truth for you.

it is better to get your calcium from other sources, though your teacher is right that calcium helps your bones.
milk is not really good for you, though, especially if it is not organic. i don't mean to sound like a crazy health nut, but there are a lot of synthetic hormones in dairy products that can be especially detrimental to an adolescent body, especially in females.
