well, my dog was lost for 2 weeks and all we did was look and look and look. THen after 2 weeks my mom looked in the pennysaver and there was a bunch of ads for found dogs. We called all of them, and lucky enough, we found her. I know how it feels to lose a pet, its horrible. You'll find him...

So...
1. look around your neighborhood (call his name and whistle, that should help)
2. ask people if theyve seen your puppy.
3. visit pounds and see if they have him.
4. check the 'pennysaver' and the 'recycler'
5. and most importantly, pray. I did and it helped. :)
6. I live in South Gate and I found my dog in Norwalk, so dont be afraid to search far away from where you live. You cant imagine how far those little boogers can travel. :D
7. post up signs, it didnt help me but it might help you especially because people are out and about this time of the year.

Good Luck...youll find him!

First of all, keep looking for him, call him in a calm voice, don't sound angry or he will think you are mad and not come. Ask neighbors/friends to watch for him. Call the humane society and the police as ask if they have found him or anyone has called to say they found a dog. Tomorrow when it is daylight go out again and look, he may be tired and hungry by then and will be looking for you. Calmly think about what direction he ran in and look that area.

Good luck. Don't give up, keep looking and calling around. No lectures about being more careful!

Keep cruising the area calling the dog's name.

Call your local veterinary hospitals and clinics, and animal control office and report your dog as lost.

Post "lost dog" signs in your neighborhood, at the local grocery stores, and the local schools.

tell your parents what happened, and have them take you to the dog pound. put signs around the neighborhood on telephone poles, etc. so that people can see them while driving. include a picture of the dog, phone number, and a reward.

you have to go all-out! put up fliers! if u have a pic of it copy it and up it all over the neighboorhood....get other people involved so they can find it....he may not come back if hes a stray as he is usded to outdoors...leave some food outside the house...but more importantly keep looking !

if you have a photo of him post them everywhere offer a reward and people will probably look or if someone found him they will probably give him back considering there is a award. ask the local vets and pounds if they have found him. prey that he will come home. Hope you find your dog.

pass out paper saying you lost your dog to your town and other ones around it that he couldve possibly went to
P.S. most of the time people want a reward, who are usually greedy

the best thing to do is put up signs and call shelters. you can also try and find spots that he likes. for example, if he likes the woods try those areas. also if he knows his name call it in those areas. dogs are very smart and he or she should answer. good luck best of wishes to you.
