A lot of the time, even when I'm wearing gloves, my hands will feel really cold. :( I don't think it was like this during the summer, and I was recently (actually, just this morning) told by an MD that I have a slightly underactive thyroid.. Could this affect it? I feel cold a lot in general, even when I'm in a room that's really hot.

An underactive thyroid can certainly do it (the thyroid is key in controlling body temperature). A condition called Raynaud's Syndrome can also be the culprit.

Sometimes you just don't get the same blood flow to your hands and feet as you do the rest of your body and it can make them cold.

You may have an iron deficiency. Could also be anemia. What did your doc say about your thyroid?
