I was brought up in a strict Christian home, but after losing my faith at the beginning of this year, don't feel that I am a Christian anymore. With this barrier to having a boyfriend gone, I find myself wondering, why am I denying myself having a boyfriend?
I am 23, and a virgin. Is it a good idea to wait for marriage or not? Perhaps there are not any virgin boys out there anyway? What are your thoughts?

I think its great that you are still a virgin and waiting for marriage. Personally though, if you feel that you need to get into a relationship and have sex with someone then you should make sure that the person who you do it with is very special or even the one who you are going to marry. Virginity is such a special thing and once you lose it, its lost forever. Dont let other people pressure you into making bad choices. You need to figure this out on your own and be comforatable with any decision you choose to make.

You can have a boyfriend with out having sex. You will never find a husband if you do not have male friends. You just need to keep yourself a virgin until you are married. I wish I had. And you would be surprised at how many virgins(male or female) are still out there.

im 16 and im a virgin. im def waiting until marriage to have sex. and you may say its easy for me to say because im only 16. but i live in a town where its not likely to be a virgin when your 14. and ive been having the same boyfriend for a year and a half. and he lives with me. it is hard but its something i strongly believe in waiting for. just imagine your wedding night. how beautiful it will be. don't ruin it. and don't go looking for a virgin to be with. just look for the perfect man for you. if he is a virgin great! but if not that doesn't mean he will need sex. my boyfriend wasn't a virgin and he doesn't pressure me at all. you have waited this long, dont just have sex with anyone. good luck. i hope you choose the right thing for you.

All said and done you are a Christian. Go back to your faith - Jesus is waiting for you with his arms wide open just for you. Pray to God to guide you and you will surely find the most suitable man to love and cherish you. and pl remember Christianity is not a barrier. It is a source of love. Trust in him and you will be the most happy person on earth!

Keep waiting!! you have waited this long, if u do it, you will regret it..
you will find the one! trust me! and sex just screws up relationships anyways!
one of my best friends is almost 23, and a virgin, and she has a boyfriend who is not, and they have been together over a year, and I think will get married...

Yes, it's a good idea to wait for marriage. God loves that. We live in a society today that laugh at young women who are virgin. But, I believe that your virginity is the best gift you can give your husband

Certainly you should look for a male friend or two. As for sex, make that decision when you have more data than you do now. There is nothing inherently wrong with sex outside of marriage, as long as you know what you are doing.

It all depends on what you want. you have waited a long time already, do you think you can wait longer or are you tired of waiting? Just go with what you think is right and not what other people tell you and you will know.

Most parents would say to wait, but I think you should go for it, I don't think God would be made if you had sex, or else there wouldn't be porno, God wouldn't forbid you to have fun!But you still don't have to rush it. You can only make up your mind, and when the times right ,trust me, you'lll know.
