She needs to have her anal sacs emptied. That is the fishy smell..Any groomer will do this, as part of the goroming, or at my vet's clinic, the techs do it for $7..

Is she eating anything seafood-like? My dog smell fishy near the rear for a day if she breaks into the garbage and eats the shrimp shells.

This could be ear mites. Smell the ears. If the smell is intense inside the ears, that's it. If the smell is general, then try a bath. If that solves the problem, repeat as needed. If she has ear mites, get medicine at the pet store.

I agree with chetco. Her anal glands need to be emptied. The same thing happened to our dog and once the vet emptied the anal glands she was fine. It shouldn't be ignored as it can cause infection and ulcerate.
