I love red nose pits, but am i allowed to get one. i heard pitbulls are not legal (for some ungodly reason,,they aresoooo sweet) here, but i have seen people walking dogs that look like them? Help!

"5-17 Pit Bull Law
It is illegal in Miami-Dade County to own any dog which substantially conforms to a pit bull breed dog, unless it was specially registered with Miami-Dade County prior to 1989. Acquisition or keeping of a pit bull dog: $500.00 fine and County Court action to force the removal of the animal from Miami-Dade County. ONLY an Animal Services Investigator trained in pit bull identification will determine if the dog conforms to pit bull breed standards."

ok hun one pitbulls are breed unfoutnalu for fighting and protection of proprty they are word commabd dogs meaning they can attacked by comand even the sweetist dog no matter the breed can trun on it owner if it is trained to do so before u even get the dog. the best thing to do with this is go to the local humane socity and look for the local pet laws for your neborhood or anmail control officer this way u know the laws and u can get a better undersatind if where ur at allowes certan breeds of dogs
