Christmas...a time for being re-born, to start over, to remember the birth of our Saviour. I think the important thing is to share with family and friends and to give something good from ur heart. Not material things, but spiritual. Moral support. Maybe give to the poor or invite someone less fortunate to ur home to eat. Being Christian means "being Christ like" What would He have done??? Ask urself that question and look for answers.:)

Christmas can be a wonderful holiday or it could be a sad one to many people leave out the true meaning of christmas and use
X-mas,I'm glad that I am full-filled with the love and joy and understanding that christ is a part of christmas and that Jesus died and shed his blood so that we would have eternal life, to many people look at christmas as just a game, there are to many people trying to out- due people by buying big things and going in debt for there family, but the best gift of all is just buying a small gift and spending time with your loved ones,or forgive a family member for something that you are holding a grudge against them for and let them know that even though you do not approve of what they did in the past that the past is the past and you are not the judge and you want to make peace between the two of you, hatred is a very ugly thing and can consume our lives in so-many bad ways but it can be over-cast and you will feel so much more pure. Amen, The Bible is such a wonderful book, from Genises to Revelations.

For many, the time of Christmas is a joyful time, especially children, who very much anticipate the coming of Santa Claus, but for many it is a very sad time of year. Many people have lost loved ones since, the last time of Christmas, and perhaps feels lonely and lost without them. Some people have no family, some no money to buy gifts, this makes them sad because they have no gift for loved one, unfortunately this is not what Christmas is suppose to be about, but the media has made it that way. For those who can afford extravagant gifts like the Magi Kings who brought gifts to a baby born in a manger, then that is what people should think of at Christmas time.

I am very happy to hear that you have found "God" and are no longer an athiest! Christmas can be joyful or sad depending on who and where you are. The holiday itself has become too commercialized and people have lost the true meaning and reason for it, if we could "all" get back to this it would be extremely joyful for all. If a person is alone without friends and or family it can be a very sad time as well. Christmas should be a happy time because of the celebration of our saviour's birth. I pray for world peace and that everyone accept him into their hearts for who and what he is before it is too late. MerryChristmas to all no matter where you are.

.It depends.. If you have a loved one that is not able to be with you on this dreary holiday or If you have a lot of kids and no cash flow or a steady job it can be sad for parents that is not able to get their children What they want And the government got our children mind so messed up to where us as parents go out and spend thousand of dollars on this man made existing holiday on not just kids but grownups. Me myself I don't believe in Christmas I buy my children things everyday. Christmas is a way the government has corrupted our minds to spend money on loved ones, I do that every chance I get. if you read the bible Christmas and Easter is not mentioned, It was man who said that 12/25 was his birthday....We wasn't there and back then they did not have calender days no ways. So holly jolly and Merry new year 2 u all. Oh yea I do got a Christmas Tree So yea my mind is partially Corrupted.

I am so happy for you. now where is your question?

Holidays like Xmas can be very sad for those who are not living the Hollywood holiday life. Suicides tend to peak at Xmas. I hope you are doing something for all those who are simply less fortunate than you are.
If your only desire is to Preach then you are missing the whole point that your Jesus dude was trying to make and you will burn in hell for that!

Amen Rodney. But you know Jesus wasnt born in December and its just a day stolen by Catholics from the Pagans, right?

Thats why as a Christian I celebrate Hanukkah and dont recognize Xmas at all.

Blessings,
David

i do not cry even with the undeniable fact that it makes me quite dissatisfied to imagine about Christmas. I had one of those relaxing Christmas Eve and day. I loved being collected with my kinfolk and my boyfriend's kinfolk earlier and through Christmas. I leave out it a lot! i visit't trust I really might want to attend yet another 12 months!

i believe that christmas should be a joyful time. It is a time to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. He became flesh to die and shed his blood for all of our sins. it is with his blood that we all have a chance to be saved and have eternal life with him. Throughout all scripture it says to praise and rejoice. I have never seen anything say to mourn over Jesus.

Ok, someone who writes that as an attempt to get a point across is clearly off their head. I'm sorry you weren't strong enough to stay an atheist, but at least you won't need to ask forgivness when you come back.
