I agree completely--Christ said"whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers that you have done unto me"--so he's been gaybashed plenty, as well as discriminated against, and generally treated like garbage by these so called "christian" homophobes--they will catch hell for it I am sure!

I believe both are sins but, the latter being more serious. As I see it, homosexuality can be seen as sinful, because the Bible says so but not everyone believes the Bible. Being hurtful and hateful to others is also a sin and you dont need to believe the Bible to agree with that. Being hurtful and hateful to others is worse in my opinion because you are doing multiple wrongs, you hurt a person as well as making God look hateful and this creating an even bigger riff between God and man. Everyone, whether they are Bible believers or not would be much better off to "do to others as you would have them do to you" and nobody wants someone else to tell them how to live their lives.

I am assuming the "some people" you are referring to are Christians.

The reason *some* Christians believe it to be a sin (no more terrible than any other sin, mind you) is because it's what our faith teaches.

Homophobic people are afraid of homosexuals. There is a difference between being afraid of something and disagreeing with it.

I haven't harassed any homosexuals lately, so I'm not sure how to answer this last part. As for the people who do, I can not answer for them.

Homosexuality didn't used to hurt anybody else but, the person who did the acts but now when they keep pushing it like it is an ordinary life choice type of thing then they are hurting people because some will think they are homosexual when they are not and instead of fighting perversion they will leap into it faster than you can say hairspray. What you are saying amounts to the kid who yelled out "The Emporer has no clothes" is committing the sin which is wrong.

I am suppose to hate the sin and not the sinner meaning what you chose for your life is your business far be it from me to judge you. God has written in his word what he feels about homosexuality and no where in the bible does it say man has a job to condemn people for their choices. He has already condemned it so we don't need to help God do that.

We are suppose to love all people regardless of their life choices, thank God no Christian that I knew started to hate me when I disobeyed God and participated in fornication, lien, stealing, having a perverse mouth and not loving my neighbor.

I am happy to say God placed true Christians in my imperfect life to love me the way he loves me which is in spite of. It is not our jobs to judge and condemn others but to love one another and allow the light that God blessed us with to shine so bright that one may ask What must I do to be saved, and if no one is asking you that question then you need to rethink your actions and words you are choosing to display!

Most people can't even say homophobia is a sin. How many perfect people do you know? I mean, if you've had premarital sex, your a sinner. That crosses out most of the human population. As Jesus said, "let the one who is without sin throw the first stone."

Because they like to pick and choose what sort of commandments to keep from Leviticus.

Try throwing the ban on eating non-scaled, non-finned sea creatures or the ban on wearing clothes woven from different types of cloth back at them. It's great fun. :)

I'm afraid I can't agree with you, because I do not accept the concept of sin.

However, you are right.

God loves everyone, but to live a homosexual lifestyle is a sin. Nobody is born gay. www.equip.org
