A great man rarely compromises basic responsibilities, especially when someone else is dependent on him. Trash? That can be okay to forget sometimes. Forgetting your birthday is NOT okay. Not paying the bills is NOT okay. A great man values his woman as he values himself. Otherwise, the "sorries" really just mean he values other things first, and who wants to be second, third and fourth? You deserve to be first, and the right man will put you first. It's not a question of how many times he does this anymore. That being said, talk with him calmly about it first. If it changes, great. If it doesn't, put yourself first for a change and leave. It is better to be alone for a little while than to be with a person who makes you feel bad. Good luck--be strong!

There's no limit on how many times you should forgive a person, especially if they are being sincere in their appology.
However, if this is really bothering you, I'd suggest you speak to him about it. In a kind way..Just explain how you feel about it, and that you do forgive him for these things..but that he should try a little harder in the future, maybe.
Also, try reversing it. If you were the one doing this, what would your reasoning be? What would you want and/or expect him to do?
Good luck.
Blessings and Love

Jesus said to forgive others at least 70 x 7. (A bunch of times). However, it sounds to me that this guy is NOT really all that sorry, or he wouldn't continue in his present path.
I'd make it clear that enough is enough.
And then move on.

I thought you were going to say he cheats on you or he hit you or he hit on your sister or something. How many times should you forgive him for not taking out the garbage?! Sounds like a nag.

He's a sorry a*sshole, alright. If your asking this question, then you already know the answer, don't you? I've divorced guys for less than that. Find someone to share the load as well as the "goods".

When you tell him "I'm sorry" is too easy and you don't want to hear those words anymore.
What you want is to see some big improvements right away or it's over.
You may love him but if he doesn't treat you well....he doesn't love you.

Peter asked Jesus, "Should I forgive my brother as many as 7 times?"
Jesus said, " Nope. 70 x7."
He meant: keep forgiving.
remember: forgiveness can never be earned. It is given as a gift....
god bless!!
