Christians don't have pagan trees, only pagans do. God created the tree and said it was "good." Pagans and Christians alike have decorated trees in celebrations, but Christians aren't pagans, and there's a world of difference.

On our tree, we have ornaments that tell the Christmas story or have some significant meaning for our Christian Christmas Celebration. If it's a CHRIST-mas Tree, it isn't pagan. If the pagans have a tree, or try to claim they started decorating them first, they are mistaken, and who cares who started it?

Again, the tree is God's, Jesus is God Incarnate, and I am in God's family as a result. I celebrate my Christ, and the decorations were his to start with, not the goofs that worship rocks and seasons, etc.

"Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter."

Isa 5:20

Most Pagans do not see the need to kill a tree for a single day celebration.

the pagan custom was to cut trimmings from the holly and fir trees and decorate the home with them. and to decorate the trees outside with small (preferably eatible treats for the animals)
and shiny things for the fey.

My Christmas tree is a symbol of Jesus Christ, with an angel on top, and the many blessing He has given us represented by the many many ornaments collected over the wonderful years in Christ!

Just as Christ redeemed my sinfulness, so Christ redeemed the pagan symbol into life everlasting!

Merry Christmas. Praise be Jesus Christ now and forever.

I am a Christian Witch. I decorate a tree to symbolize the new life that Christ brought as well as pay honor to Nature and the Earth.

Christians adopted things like evergreen trees to use as Christian symbols. The evergreen tree for the Christian symbolizes eternal life. I think that the star on top symbolizes the star of Bethlehem. There is nothing wrong with a Christian having a Christmas tree, we use it to celebrate the birth of Jesus. www.equip.org

I do and I love it. Your point is? That Christians can't enjoy the holidays? Our first priority is celebrating Jesus, everything else is secondary. I say we Christians should start celebrating a bit more instead of a couple of times a year, that will really get your goat.
