living in Canada? Id like to move to Canada but as a UK citizen i dont know how to go about it? what would i need? Or, if i want temporary residency to open a bank account how do i do this as i was unable to open account due to not having the correct documentation i.e. health card, drivers license etc.

Check with your Canadian Consulate located in the UK. They can tell you exactly what documents you'll need, along with any information you'll need to have to migrate to Canada.

if you are moving to canada for good you need apply for residency at www.cic.gv.ca ... it can take up to 4 years before it comes through
if you want a work visa for a year you should check out SWAP.
