have known my best guy friend for 3 or 4 years and have liked him [more like love] for that long too. i never knew he liked me before. this last couple of weeks we were both in pep band and sat next to each other. each time we would have a break from the music we would lay back in the bleachers and talk. he would keep complementing me and we would just laugh and be really happy togeather. yesterday we had a game and we talked like usual then he would start to move closer to me and touch my feet with his. then when we wre both on the internet he said that he loves me alot. so then i told him that i love him too and he got very happy and excited. i havent talked to him scince last night but we will on monday.i'm not sure if he will ask me out or not but i have a pretty good feeling that he will. what are your thoughts on this situation? i really love him.

You must be really excited about this change in your relationship with your friend! It seems like his heart is in the right place. As long as he treats you right, you won't have to worry if he asks you out. That will just naturally happen.

I would have to say both of you need to be careful and play things by ear.. yes you two both love each other and your relationship is based on a friendship foundation so things should be fine.. just be careful.
