I have a Australian cattle & american staffi cross when I bought him nobody knew what breed of cattle dog he is?.
He is a brown brindle with a white greyish patch under his neck, I asked the person I bought it off she doesn't know? if people asked me what kind of dog he is is he a Kelpie or what breed he is
so I can say what it is to people instead of saying Australian cattle & American Staffi cross to people he is a mystery breed

Australian Cattle dog is a breed. If she looks like one of these just say she is Australian cattle dog mix. If she looks like a pit bull (Staffordshire) then say she is pit bull mix.
Both dogs are on the aggressive side, or can be. Very smart as well...Kelpie is another breed of dog.
She is a mix, a mutt. Nothing wrong with this!

tell them he is a mutt. good old fashioned mutt. They are great animals. can't be any more helpful w/o a picture. Sounds like you have it australian cattle dog and american staffordshire terrior. They look @ you funny b/c they are used to people calling staffies pits. You can probably call him anything you want. We are dealing w/ breed specific legeslation here and I am learning that peopld don't know anything about breeds, wsp breeds w/ slight diifferences, you would be amazed @ how many people will swear a boxer is a pit bull. or my american bulldog has been called a boxer, pit, I think even a mastiff mix.
