My ex broke up w/ me two months ago. We went out for the first time the other day. We spent three hours, just talking, laughing etc.. very casual.
Briefly discussed how we have not hooked up w/ other people and how we are not interested in doing that.
At the end of the night, I got upset adn started to cry a little. I told him that I missed him. He said he missed me too, and then gave me a very long hug and a kiss on the head. After that we hugged again.I asked if he was upset and he said a little.
We said we'd keep in touch.
Any ideas?

The kiss on the head was very telling. He didn't want things to progress physically past where they had already gone (so as not to be seen taking advantage of you in an emotional situation). This guy might actually respect you. Good luck.

The fact that he didn't try to take advantage of you when you were so emotional is a good sign that he may really care about you. Also the fact that neither one of you have found another lover means that there is hope you may get back together ... If that is what y'all want.

If he's not man enough to either formally admit he made a mistake or if he's not man enough to make up his mind then politely stay in touch. He may try to use you as an outlet for sexual frustration while trying to find a suitable (another) girl, so don't give him the time of day.

awww shoot.. that really sucks and the more you spend time with him and laugh and stuff, the more sad you're gonna become. because lets say you go a month without seeing him.. that's a month of u trying to get over him.. then if you meet up with him, you've completely erased that month of getting over him and you have to start fresh again and that hurts a lot...
But honestly, i with you guys could work it out i really do:(
