I had internet explorer 7 - it came in an automatic download from Microsoft with some other downloads. I had nothing but trouble with it -I couldn't always read my e-mail, my system would freeze, I lost my favorites, and my yahoo e-mail was to large for my screen - it ran right off the right side of my screen, and I had to use the arrows to move everything to the left to read it - so I deleted it and internet explorer 6 was automatically reinstalled. Now I don't have all that trouble anymore. So go ahead - uninstall internet explorer 7 - and 6 will automatically be back. You will be glad you did it.

I doubt it is Explorer 7 that is causing your problem, I would go through your ad ons and other programs on your computer, see what else you may have downloaded in the same time period that you upgraded to 7, if that is when the problem started maybe run a scan or registry check to try to clear up the problem or perhaps 7 loaded wrong, remove and reload. Also check that your programs are updated and compatable, some are not. - go to microsoft, com and check for updates or for explorer 6.

just uninstall IE7 and you should ahve IE 6 back, however, with security concerns in mind, I recommend all Microsoft users to use Firefox as the primary web browser.
