All I have to work with is tomato sauce or ketchup! Hubby is at work and has the truck so no way to the store! Please help

Use Ketchup as your base... this is a slightly sweet tomatoey sauce so you need to add some zing. I would add about 2 tbsp of Worchestershire if you have it. Other good items to add would be: a bit of molasses or pancake syrup, onion or garlic powder, a dash or two of vinegar or lemon juice. Give it some heat with Tabasco or crushed red peper.

I can give you a no calorie Bolognese sauce.

1 Tin of chopped tomatoes.
1 large onion
mushrooms, peppers.

chop the onion and slice the mushrooms, and chop the peppers.
pour over your mince meat and simmer.

There you go, no calorie bolognese sauce.

EASY HOMEMADE BARBECUE SAUCE

2 1/2 c. catsup
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. mustard
1/4 c. onions, diced

Mix ingredients together, use as desired.

Add jar mustard, maple syrup and garlic to your ketchup.
