I very much sympathize with your extrodinarly long day at work. It is understandable that you would be cranky, so no, I don't think you are a jack***. At the same time, your girlfriend probably didn't mean to do anything to upset you. It is possible you just hurt her feelings, or that she to had a bad day. You could always call her and tell her you had had a bad/long day at work, and you didn't mean to take it out on her. Do you and your girlfriend usually bring other visitors over to each others house? If so, she probably saw nothing wrong with having her sister over. But you could always discuss that as well. Maybe mention that you would rather the house look nicer when her sister was over. It all depends on your relationship of course. Good luck with your job it sounds like a doozy.

You don't say whether you are living together or not? But in either case, after working 21 hours straight coming home to a messy place with company over you have a right to be a little cranky. Your girlfriend should have been more understanding since she had to have known your hours and at the very least, not had company over. Yes, her sister is still company.
