The Messianic Jews I know come from all sorts of backgrounds....Reformed, Conservative....very few truly Orthodox Jews have "come to Christ" in my experience.

Many come by studying Holy Scripture and see so many of the Jewish prophesies fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

May read the Suffering Servant verses in Isaiah and can come to no OTHER conclusion but that Yeshua is Messiah.

yes. technically, they still are orthodox jews, they have just been released from the burden of the jewish law. thats the idea behind freedom in Christ.
they probably came to the knowledge of Christ the same way Paul did. by studying the scriptures and realizing that Jesus is the messiah that the prohets and law foretold about

no, the messianics barely even target orthodox jews for conversion because they know they won't be very successful. they usually go after secular jews who don't know anything much about judaism and therefore are easily fooled. there is always a case here and there about an orthodox jew converting to christianity, but its very rare.

I just came back from a Messianic service. About half are Jews who found Yeshua...and half are Christians who realize the depth of our faith is in Judaism, like me.

The Jews there each have their own story....just like how everyone else gets born again by different circumstances.

The one thing they have in common seems to be the realization of the need to be forgiven...and that every one of their traditions is sreaming YESHUA !!

Blessings
David

if they were jews by birth then they were uneducated ones. a child of 3 who is educated in judaism knows that christianity is mututally exclusive of judais. someone who thinks the two go together doesn't really know judaism.
